I'm Riya R Sen, perpetually stuck in the magic of old-fashioned films. Filmmaking isn’t just what I do—it’s what I’m married to, for better or worse, and I give it my all every single time. It’s never just work; it’s do or truly enjoy.           

           

I’ve worked across short formats, ads, and documentaries, with cinematography and photography shaping my journey along the way. Photography opened the door for me, but filmmaking made sure I never left. And while directing is the ultimate goal, I refuse to confine myself to just one lane—every part of filmmaking holds my interest, and I’ll keep exploring it all, no matter how many times I get asked, “But what’s the one thing you really want to do?”
